About Little Down Farm

The Bakers of Westfield have lived in the village for over 200 years and five generations of us have farmed the land where we now plant our trees.
As times have changed our family and our farm have changed with them but what has never changed is the hard work and dedication we have put into our crop.

We have been growing Christmas trees at Little Down Farm since the 1980s and have built on our years of experience to ensure that Little Down Farm Christmas trees are among the best quality in the UK. Focussing only on Christmas trees has allowed us to develop techniques for growing, pruning and shearing that really get the best out of our firs.

We pride ourselves on being a local farm at the centre of a thriving community. By selling direct to the public we are able to keep our costs low and to supply the freshest trees around. Needle drop need not be a problem when you can take a freshly-cut tree straight home to your living room!

The Bakers think that choosing your tree should be an essential part of your festive preparations. And with the addition of three beautiful reindeer to our farm, there’s something for everyone to enjoy when you come to pick your tree.

Little Down Farm is a proud member of the British Christmas Tree Association and even prouder winner of the 2008 competition to find the ‘Best British Christmas Tree Grower’, a title that basically speaks for itself! Little Down Farm Christmas trees are simply the best!
